Summer 2027 Colors and UES Foil Recommendations

Summer 2027 Colors Are Coming

Pantone has announced 10 season colors for New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027. According to the Pantone Color Institute, this palette brings together joy and the desire to connect with nature, encouraging individual expression and experimentation with color.

In this two-part series, we share our foil recommendations from the UES Foils color chart for each color. This week we cover the first five colors.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK SPRING / SUMMER 2027

TOP COLORS

According to Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, the themes of this palette are joy, connection with nature and individual expression. The palette is both warm and vibrant: bold shades such as Chili Pepper, Dragon Fire and Hibiscus sit side by side with soft colors such as Anise Flower and Lavender Oil.

For manufacturers, the real question is: how do we bring these colors to the product? The standard and hologram foils in the UES Foils 2025 color chart cover most of this palette. Below, we make recommendations color by color.

Pantone Summer 2027 Colors and Matching UES Foils

1. Anise Flower

A soft, buttery light yellow. A color that carries elegance quietly.

Recommended foils: SM-03, S-29, YM-02

Soft metallic and semi-matt foils preserve the subtlety of this color. On blouse and dress prints, ballet flat and sandal details, and small bag logos, they give an elegant result without overdoing the shine.

2. Princess Blue

A deep, saturated blue with a noble bearing.

Recommended foils: S-64, S-644, S-464

Standard blue foils provide a strong surface on T-shirt and sweatshirt prints. S-464 stands out on sneaker details. Hologram H-06 is a good choice if you are looking for a showy blue on bags and accessories.

3. Waterfall

A fresh, vivid turquoise-green. One of the colors that carries the feeling of summer most directly.

Recommended foils: S-73, S-62, S-78

It can be used as a lively accent in beach and holiday collections, and on sandal and summer bag logos. It looks especially good on white and cream backgrounds.

4. Langoustino

A warm, earthy tone between terracotta and coral.

Recommended foils: S-234, S-354, S-35

With their copper and terracotta undertones, these foils give a warm luxury effect on leather and suede-look surfaces, bags and shoes. On linen and cotton textiles, they strengthen the natural feel.

5. Chili Pepper

A dark, fiery red. Pantone describes this color as the visual counterpart of an appetite for bold flavors.

Recommended foils: S-50, M-24, S-504

S-50 is suitable for a glossy effect, and M-24 for matt, understated luxury. Hologram H-07 stands out on party and evening pieces, and on clutch and high-heel details.
